I had the esteemed privilege of presenting yesterday before an exceptional assembly of legal professionals affiliated with the Colombian American Bar Association (COLBAR). This association diligently serves the community by developing programs aimed at educating and fostering connections among individuals with a shared interest in advancing the administration of justice and enhancing society. The legal arena is widely recognized for the pressures of stress, anxiety, and burnout that frequently cast a shadow over its practitioners. I found tremendous satisfaction in introducing them to the transformative program of Triumph Steps and expertly guiding them through our meticulously crafted eight-step framework. This framework is a result of thoughtful design, equipping participants with indispensable tools and techniques to amplify their mental well-being.
Notably, Triumph Steps is approved by The Florida Bar Association, which has recognized and endorsed our CLE course for six Continuing Legal Education and Mediation credits. This specialized framework goes above and beyond the stipulated six-hour CLE and CME requisites; it pivots towards elevating the mental well-being of each and every participant. By comprehensively addressing crucial facets like substance abuse, mental health awareness, and professionalism, the course nurtures personal growth that transcends participants to a healthier, more fulfilling life. I firmly believe that as we raise the spotlight on mental health awareness, legal professionals will discover increased fulfillment and happiness, leading them to better care for both themselves and their clients.
