This past summer, Beatriz Martinez, founder of Triumph Steps conducted a professional development workshop for all TAYB staff and the results were highly impactful. She was able to break down the material in a way that was easy for everyone to internalize, and more importantly made everyone understand that in order to teach emotional literacy, the work has to start with each of us personally. Beatriz was encouraging and positive in her delivery, making everyone excited to work through the steps personally and with new-found energy to ensure the students were receiving this very important component of our after-school programming.
Many of them wrote me the following day asking for the presentation to be shared and asking for follow up support.

I would highly recommend Beatriz and the whole Triumph Steps team for any professional development needs. The Triumph Steps are useful to people of all ages and backgrounds and I am confident their workshops will be of benefit to anyone who is exposed to them.
