Washington D.C. Trip 5/1-2/17

With a special thanks to United States Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos staff, Triumph Steps had the special ability to acquire an important meeting in the U.S Department of Education with the Director of Education and Innovation Programs in Washington, D.C. Kelly Terpak.  We also had the honor to meet with Senators Bill Nelson, Marco Rubio, and Congresswoman Eliana Ros-Lehtinen, who welcomed us with some Cuban coffee. These meetings certainly open the door to many other future opportunities and promotes the importance of emotional literacy being taught within schools nationwide.
