Triumph Steps had the honor to present at the Family Empowerment Summit at D.A Dorsey Technical College on June 15th, 2017. The Family Empowerment Summit is a two-day Summit hosted by the Parent Academy and the Division of Education Opportunity and Access. Presenters, parents, and students all participated in open dialogue related to preventative measures in youth violence, opportunities for career advancement, and personal growth. Among the presenters were Tod Bass of the State Attorney’s office, Marjorie Alexis of the Public Defenders office, Anthony Graines of AMI Kids North, Renny Neyra of the MDCPS Parent Academy, and many more.
