Triumph has added a five-hour continuing education course for the legal field. In this engaging and powerful course, Beatriz provides practical solutions and a transformational therapeutic framework to law professionals to gain dominion over their emotions and become influential leaders with a productive legal practice.

Over a three-year period, each Florida Bar member must complete 33 hours, five of which must be in the area of ethics, professionalism, substance abuse, mental illness awareness, or bias elimination. Upon completing this course, Florida Lawyers will receive six CLE for the mental wellness component and tools to help them deal with stress, anxiety, burnout, and more. Six CLEs with Mental Fitness & Emotional Literacy Training

The Florida Bar association approved this course for six Continuing Legal Education and Mediation credits.

This Continuing Legal Education course focuses on elevating the mental wellness of all participants while meeting six hours of CLE and CME requirements under substance abuse, mental illness awareness, and professionalism.

Who will benefit from this course: Attorneys looking to meet mental wellness CLE and CME requirements of the Florida Bar. Also, lawyers experiencing stress, anxiety, and feeling on the verge of burnout.

Beatriz will offer Mental Fitness and Emotional Literacy Training in a highly interactive and experiential seminar she has used with thousands of her patients and clients. In her engaging and powerful sessions, Beatriz will provide practical solutions and a transformational therapeutic framework that leads all participants to understand the importance of developing correct thought patterns and eliminating limiting thoughts to gain dominion over your emotions and become influential leaders with a productive legal practice.

This workshop will bring mental illness and substance abuse awareness by offering effortless techniques to overcome anxiety, stress, and depression, decrease suicides, homicides, and more.

Biography: Beatriz Martinez-Peñalver

Beatriz Martinez-Penalver, is a licensed psychotherapist with 30 years of experience in mental health, featured on PBS, CBS NBC, Univision, Hay House Radio, and more. She is the President and CEO of Healthy Connections, Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) in Miami, FL. Healthy Connections opened its doors in 2001. With a team of 25-30 staff members, it has served thousands of clients (children and adults) with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions.

She is an activist that has traveled the nation to spread the facts about emotional literacy on the doorsteps of policymakers, educators, and parents everywhere. Beatriz knows that happiness is a skill that can be learned. Her mission extends well beyond her practice, and her goal is to ensure that all children are given the tools to be happy. Top of Form

Beatriz has been recognized by The School Board of Miami-Dade County for her commitment to our students, their mental wellness, and emotional literacy nationwide. Beatriz was named the 2019 Businesswoman of the year in the category of Outstanding Healthcare Professional presented by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. She was named the 2018 Floridana at the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Woman’s club. She joins other Floridanas such as Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, former First Lady of Florida Columba Bush, American television anchor Jackie Nespral and many more influential women of Florida.
